Splashy First Olympics Day - 10/1/17

Hey everyone! It's Adam here ready to give you the rundown! Today was filled with learning; we spent the morning with Professor Ripley continuing with our Christology in Global Context course, and then proceeded to the AUC campus where Professor Kamal gave us some final lessons on Arabic. Good news! Us Globies are now experts at asking someone where the whiteboard marker is! (El-allum fain?)

After classes, many of us went down to the pool to participate in the first event for our Global Olympics! We raced, in friendly competition, back and forth along the pool, yet even here we learned some things: Brodie is a better swimmer than any of us will ever be!

Overall, today was well spent with academics and a fun time in the pool! Couldn't have asked for a better time in Egypt!
