Free Day!!!

Good evening from Cairo!

Today was our free day, and it was all around amazing. I think we all appreciated having the opportunity to catch up on sleep and rest our bodies (after most of us spent the majority of the week by the bathroom). Personally, I went through a little group withdrawal today, as it was the first day we weren't all together. But I won't get too upset, becasue tomorrow we get to be together again! :)

Everyone did different things today. Some students chose to stay in their rooms and get a little R&R in. Others went back to the Cairo Museum to visit mummies and in the words of Rose, "meet Queen Hatshepsut and Ramses II face to face."

Another group of students went to campus to play a game of ultimate frisbee. The weather has been beautiful this week. Mostly in the 80's and the sweatshirts are coming out because we've acclimated and it's a little cold. Perfect frisbee weather though.

We finished our evening in Quint 1, playing games and doing a massage train, which was the perfect day to end an already relaxing day.

We are officially in our last week of Egypt, and I think I speak for everyone when I say, how is that even possible? I guess they aren't lying when they say time flies when you're having fun. And we are having So. Much. Fun.

We are wishing the Oles back on the Hill a very fun hoco weekend!

Until next time,
Hannah
